The War You Did Not Know About

March 7, 2016 | Gunner Steele

There Is A Major War Going On Right Now

One of the sad truths about life is that people don't care or pay attention to the things that matter to them the most. Its an odd fact of human nature. Whether we are talking about one's health, their finances, their children, or their relationships—the average American doesn't realize how bad things are until something breaks. And then they wonder, "what happened?"

They just weren't paying attention to the warning signs. And the same goes for wars. You see, you can stop almost any war if you stop the causes that lead up to the war. Pretty simple concept, right?

But the problem is that governments love war. It keeps them in power and allows them to justify the oppression of their own people.

Now, our Founding Fathers were incredibly smart. They put a limit—a check and a balance—on the ability for the United States to participate in any war. Most people are unaware of it, but the Constitution only allows for the funding of a standing army for 2 years. That's it—2 years. Its in Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution.

And think about it—if we only could finance the existence of a standing army for 2 years, how many wars would we be getting involved with? (NOTE—The Constitution does provide for a standing Navy, but not an Army).

Of course, this Constitutional limit can always be easily overridden if Congress declares war. And "war" would basically only be declared if our National Security was seriously threatened.

Anyhow, if you go back in history you will see that the United States has basically been in a permanent state of the declaration of war for nearly 100 years! And then we have other nonsensical "wars" like the "war on drugs," the "war on poverty," and the "war on terror," etc.

Now don't get me wrong, I am opposed to psychotropic drugs, I hate poverty, and I'd like to see terrorism end. But don't let these "buzz words" seduce you. They don't do what they claim to do. THEY NEVER DO.

Think about it—after these wars, do we not have more drug use, more poverty, and more terrorism? We sure do. And the government is more empowered as a result.

And that's always the end game—for the Government to grow and to become more powerful.

So why do I mention all of this?

Because there is a serious war going on right now that very few American citizens are paying attention to, even though the warning signs are all there, and even though it will profoundly affect your every day life.

It is the war on cash.

Bad News and Good News

So what exactly is going on, and why does it matter? Well, before I tell you the bad news, let me tell you that there are actions you can take to protect yourself, and I will give you that information for FREE (even though other doom-and-gloomers will terrorize you with the bad news and then charge you for the solution).

So just stick with me.

Anyhow, here's the deal—the number one subject on planet earth that affects EVERYONE is the subject of economics. Its one of the easiest subjects to understand, but hardly anybody knows about it and almost nobody pays attention to it. But it is the source of all of the world's ills. Even WARS almost all exist because of economic issues.

And what's happening right now is that the major economies of the world are all falling apart piece by piece because of socialistic, big government policies. They have spent more money than they have, they have increased their debt, printed money, and redistributed the wealth of their most innovative and hard working citizens. They have increased their control, and expanded their bureaucracies and they are all about to collapse under the weight of their own foolishness.

Its not tough to understand. You can run up your credit cards for only so long. Hey, have a blast! Buy things you can't afford, take exotic vacations, by cars, and food, and clothes, and toys—make your minimum payments and continue as long as you can. But eventually, you'll spend too much. You'll go too far and you won't be able to make those payments anymore. Then your world will come crashing down.

The same goes for governments and central banks.

So the geniuses who got us into this mess keep taking us deeper. Now, central bankers are dreaming up some pretty nasty and gnarly solutions to extend their run. One of them is negative interest rates.

This is one of those things that nobody thought could happen in America, but it's coming.

You see, in order to encourage spending and consumption, the Fed has lowered interest rates in America so low, that it basically can't go any lower. So the only thing they can do is go negative.

What this means in reality is that if you leave your money in the bank, they will actually eat up your savings instead of paying you interest. So imagine you've got $10,000 in the bank. With negative interest rates, at the end of a year you could have $9,750. How's that for helping you save up your little nest egg?

So what would reasonable people do in this scenario?

Well, you'd probably take your money out of the bank, right? Of course you would. Only a fool would leave their money in a bank so they can watch it be consumed for nothing! But then that would mean that you would start making purchases with cash, and cash is dangerous, and criminals and drug traffickers use cash—so we can't have that!

So how can the Government keep people from controlling their own money? Easy! They simply ban cash!

But that would be a harsh move, right? And people wouldn't accept it! And the government knows that you can't put a frog in boiling water—you've got to turn up the heat slowly. So that's what they've been doing. The government started a War on Cash many years ago, under the auspices of fighting drug trafficking and terrorism, and they have been grooming the public to accept it.

Other governments around the world are all doing the same thing. And it won't be long before bills are brought before Congress to completely ban cash altogether. Don't think it's possible? Consider this...

Here's some things that have already happened in the world in the last few years:
Spain has already banned cash transactions over €2,500
Mexico has made it illegal to make cash payments of more than $11,000
Switzerland has proposed banning cash payments in excess of 100,000 francs
Russia banned all cash transactions over $10,000;
Greece imposed capital controls—only allowing citizens to withdraw limited amounts of money each week.
France made cash transactions over €1,000 illegal (previously it was €3,000)
Uruguay also banned cash transactions over $5,000
And most importantly, Janet Yellen, the chair of the Federal Reserve stated just last month that negative interest rates are being considered for America.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. There is no room here to describe whats happening in the EU, in China, and in Russia. But remember, the things that matter most to people are the things they pay attention to the least.

The War on Cash has already started. Its already affecting you. And its going to affect you more and more in the near future. The question is this—will you be prepared?
